Confined space entry is considered a high-risk activity by WSBC. Creating the required procedures is specialized work that must be completed by someone deemed qualified (i.e. education, training and experience). ORCA Health and Safety’s team can provide a qualified person whose work is proven and has been inspected by WorkSafeBC and third party auditors.
ORCA services include:
- Program development
- Inventory and identification of spaces
- Hazard assessments
- Entry procedures
- Rescue plans
- Confined space standby
- Confined space rescue services
- WSBC 9.22 Alternate Procedures Applications
- Safety by design with the goal to eliminate confined spaces from your worksite
Thoroughly impressed with the instructor’s knowledge of the topic and how it was presented
Jason was extremely knowledgeable and has a very broad background of skills that contribute to a great learning experience.
I usually tend to fall asleep in these courses. Jason was energetic and kept us focussed all day. Good job!
Karren, after talking to the guys about their confined space training, congratulations on a job well done. Our crew were all impressed with the course.
Jason is one of the best instructors I’ve had for a safety training course. He kept the course interesting and made it easy to learn.
Very well done. Jason is a very knowledgeable instructor. He was able to discuss real life examples which help to reinforce the concepts.
I’ve sat through more than 15 confined space courses over my career and this is by far the best one I have taken. Karren is practical, hands on and clear. Thanks!
